SenseCAP Indicator D1Pro

SenseCAP Indicator D1Pro

The SenseCAP Indicator D1Pro is a 4" touchscreen IoT LoRa development platform with sensors, designed for use in environmental monitoring applications.

It features a 4" capacitive display and is driven by a dual-MCU system combining the ESP32S3 and RP2040 chips. This D1Pro variant of the SenseCAP Indicator includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and LoRa communication, along with built-in sensors for TVOC and CO₂, and an external Grove temperature/humidity sensor, making it suitable for indoor air quality monitoring and similar use cases, with the benefit of LoRa communication.

The embedded SX1262 LoRa® module enables you to build the LoRa application and connect your local LoRa sensors to the Cloud via Wi-Fi. For example, you could build a LoRa hub device to connect your LoRa sensors to your smart home ecosystem to implement Matter over Wi-Fi. In this way, the LoRa devices could be connected to the Matter ecosystem via Wi-Fi, without the need to buy a new Matter-compatible device.

This device supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth communication, and is fully open-source to enable flexible prototyping and customisation. It is part of the wider SenseCAP ecosystem and can be used for developing interactive interfaces and wireless sensor displays.

A USB-C cable is included for powering the device (5V 1A required).

SenseCAP Indicator Model Comparison

There are four models of the SenseCAP Indicator, which might be a little confusing. Here's a comparison table to help you find the right version for your project:

Model D1 D1S D1L D1Pro
tVOC sensor
CO₂ sensor
Grove TH Sensor
LoRa (SX1262)

Bluetooth

We also stock the SenseCAP Indicator for Meshtastic & LoRa, which sits outside of this range.
