DFRobot TCS3430 XYZ Tristimulus Color Sensor employs the new generation of TCS3430 spectral sensor IC launched by the well-known AMS company.

It features advanced digital ambient light sensing(ALS) and CIE 1931 tristimulus colour sensing(XYZ). Each of the channels has a filter to control its optical response, which allows the device to accurately measure ambient light and sense colour.

These measurements are used to calculate chromaticity, illuminance, and colour temperature, all of which are used to support various potential applications.
