ANSMANN Comfort Check - Universal Battery Tester

This ANSMANN compact battery tester quickly measures the voltage and remaining capacity of common primary and rechargeable batteries. A side-mounted slide switch lets you select the battery type: 1.2V NiMH rechargeable, 1.5V alkaline, 3V lithium, or 3.6V lithium-ion. Simply pull out the battery compartment on the device's side, insert your battery with the correct polarity, and close the compartment to see results on the display.

The tester features an LCD display that shows voltage in decimal form across the full numeric display, accompanied by a 22-segment bar graph that provides a quick visual reference of remaining energy. This dual readout makes it straightforward to determine whether a battery still holds useful charge or needs replacement. Nine-volt blocks can be tested directly on the external contacts without adjusting the slide switch.

The device requires no internal battery or external power supply to operate, drawing all necessary power from the battery being tested. This self-powered design means the tester works anywhere and is always ready to use. Its straightforward controls and clear display make it suitable for anyone who needs to check multiple battery types, whether managing household supplies or working with equipment that uses various chemistries.
